Stuttgart

Stuttgart enjoys the status of being Baden Wurttemberg's state capital and the hub of its industries. At the forefront of Germany's economic recovery from the ravages of WWII, Stuttgart started life less auspiciously in 950 AD as a horse stud farm. Lacking historical monuments, the city attracts visitors with its air of relaxed prosperity amid the vineyard covered hills.
